Project Overview

Geomatics Nigeria Limited was commissioned by the World Bank to conduct a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment for the rehabilitation of the 127km Lagos–Ibadan expressway — one of Nigeria's most critical road infrastructure corridors.

Scope of Work

• Baseline environmental surveys covering air quality, noise, soil contamination, surface water, and groundwater across the 127km corridor and 500m buffer zone
• Ecological survey including vegetation mapping, wildlife corridor assessment, and identification of sensitive biodiversity receptors
• Socio-economic baseline study covering 34 project-affected communities across Ogun, Oyo, and Lagos States
